Capodimonte Limited agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions described herein. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Making A Purchase Purchasing products from our Online Catalog is very easy. Just browse our Catalog and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.
Purchasing from our Main Web Site is also very easy. Just browse our collections and make a note of any items you wish to buy. To obtain the associated shipping information just fill out our "Request for Shipping Information" form linked to our order page. We will get back to you as soon as possible with the shipping information.
You may pay by cheque in British Pounds made out to Capodimonte Limited or by wire transfer (SWIFT) or alternatively by credit card for orders below 750 GBP. For payment by cheque or wire transfer, we will send you a Proforma invoice which includes our full bank details. Alternatively, if you wish to pay by credit card you may use our Secure Online Order Form also linked to our Order page or via our Online Catalog.
If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction value to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Switch and Solo. Upon receipt of your order, we will confirm this information and advise you either by email or telephone your order status.
For items which are available we will complete the credit card transaction and initiate shipping operations. We do not charge for any available items until they are ready to be shipped. For items which are unavailable and need to be manufactured you will only be charged a 50% deposit with the remainder due upon fulfillment of the order prior to shipping. You may send your credit card information by phone, fax , standard post or over the Internet.
Shipping And Handling Due to the delicacy, fragility and value of our products, they are all professionally packed, insured and shipped by express courier. Please allow up to five working days for the porcelain to be packed.
Delivery Schedule Items will be despatched to you as soon as possible after completion of the credit card transaction, or, in the case of payment by cheque or wire transfer (SWIFT) as soon as payment has been credited to Capodimonte Limited. For available items, please allow up to ten working days for delivery in Europe and North America as the items must be professionally packed. For unavailable items for delivery in the same zones please allow up to thirty days as the items must be manufactured. In the event that more than thirty days is required for the manufacture we will supply you with full time details prior to taking your order.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel if you would rather not wait.
Cancellation You have the right to cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. The period in which you can excercise that right is 7 working days beginning the day after your goods are received. The porcelain must be returned in perfect condition using the same means of insurance and shipping as the original delivery, at the customer's expense, within 7 days of the notice to cancel. We reserve the right to have the goods examined by a professional art expert prior to replacement or refund.
If you return your porcelain UNOPENED AND IN ORIGINAL CONDITION within the 7 day purchase period, we will exchange it or refund your money.
We will not refund or exchange an item when a product has been specially ordered for you.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union there is currently no VAT to pay on our products. For orders from other countries outside these zones you should contact your local tax office or express courier (DHL, Fedex, UPS) who will be able to advise you as to the import taxes, where applicable, which you should pay upon consignment of the porcelain. Please note: Capodimonte Limited cannot accept liability for payment of customs or excise duties or import taxes.
Credit Card Security This shopping system is on a secure server handled by our security partner SecPay which means that your credit card information is encrypted or scrambled in the software when the order is placed, using 128 bit encryption, and cannot be intercepted and read by an outside source. The information is only decrypted after it reaches our computer and is not held in clear text on any web site. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.

If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us directly rather than contacting the shipper. We promise to do everything possible to make things right, including, but not limited to, arranging for the return of the porcelain and a prompt credit to your account.

Returns Policy Whilst Capodimonte Limited shall make every effort to ensure the porcelain arrives in perfect condition, any claims for damaged goods should be made immediately and directly to Capodimonte Limited within five working days of receipt of goods. Please return the porcelain to us (in the original packing if possible) and we will either refund your money in full, including all original postage costs, or replace the item, as you wish, within 30 days.
Remittance Terms All goods remain the property of Capodimonte Limited until paid for in full. We reserve the right to decline or rescind any order.
